Recently a fellow wildlife photographer asked me regarding the best macro lenses for Nikon D850. There are many great macro lenses available for Nikon cameras, but here are three of the best in my opinion. Please read, and let me know if you agree.
Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED Lens:
This is one of Nikon's most popular macro lenses, and for good reason. It has a versatile focal length, fast maximum aperture, and excellent image stabilization. It also produces sharp, high-quality images with beautiful bokeh.
Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Macro Lens:
This Tamron lens is an excellent alternative to the Nikon 105mm, and it's slightly cheaper. It also features a fast maximum aperture, image stabilization, and produces sharp, detailed images with beautiful bokeh.
Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO Macro Lens:
This Sigma lens has a longer focal length than the other two options, which makes it great for photographing subjects from a distance. It also features image stabilization, a fast maximum aperture, and produces sharp, detailed images with beautiful bokeh.
Ultimately, the best macro lens for you will depend on your specific needs and budget. It's always a good idea to read reviews and compare specs before making a purchase.
